L'histoire

In October 1994, Villa Casella opened its doors on Rue des Charpentiers, in Strasbourg.

An intimate setting in a beautiful bourgeois home, Villa Casella has always offered Italian cuisine with a twist. From the very beginning, the focus was on refined, traditional dishes, with full transparency. No secrets here: the kitchen is open, and guests are invited to watch the chefs at work, like magicians revealing their tricks. The response was immediate. Locals embraced this new take on Italian cuisine, "à la Casella". But the space quickly became too small. In June 1999, after two years of renovation, Villa Casella moved to Rue du Paon, finding a new home for its unique culinary identity. Now, 30 years later, the story continues. And it matters more than ever.

We never compromise on flour quality.
We use only locally sourced wheat flour from the Hurtigheim mill in Alsace, ensuring exceptional texture and flavor.
Our pasta workshop an exceptional craftsmanship :
From ravioli to tagliolini, including bucatini, gnocchi, and pappardelle, each pasta is carefully crafted using bronze dies to deliver unmatched flavor and texture.
Our passion lives in every plate of pasta.
We are committed to offering you the highest quality pasta, whether fresh, made in-house in our workshop, or dry, carefully sourced from artisan producers. Our ambition? To select the perfect pasta to elevate each and every recipe.
